Child Care Subsidy provides help with the cost of child care, and replaced the Child Care Benefit and Rebate on the 2nd of July 2018. You can claim this subsidy using your Centrelink online account through myGov or using the Centrelink Express Plus mobile app if you already have a myGov account.

The easiest way to apply is via your Centrelink Account which you can access via MyGov
The application can sometimes take 6-8 weeks to process so it's best to do it as soon as possible.
Once you are approved for Child Care Subsidy and you begin enrolment with our service, we will submit the enrolment to Centrelink. You will need to confirm the enrolment via MyGov so that the subsidy can be paid to the service. This then means we charge only the gap.
So that the service can submit the enrolment to Centrelink, we will need the CRN of the parent that submitted the application and the CRN of the child. These are different and can be found by logging onto Centrelink, select 'My family' menu and select the 'My family' hyperlink. It can also be found on the Centrelink App.
A child care subsidy claim can be backdated upto 28 days but each individual circumstance is different and it's best to contact Centrelink to find out more.
